InMotion Consulting & Coaching principal Deirdre Danahar is a trusted thinking partner for leaders in business, government, higher-education, and non-profit organizations. For more than 16 years, she’s provided guidance, training, and coaching to her client that is grounded in research and coupled candid observations about their performance, their presence, their relationships and their organization. Additionally, she co-develop and co-leads Millsaps College Else School of Management Advanced Applied Leadership Program and serves as the executive coach for the Executive MBA program.

Her client roster reaches from Washington State to Massachusetts and as far north as Ontario, Canada. Clients include AIS HealthCare, C Spire, Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society, CF Industries, Jackson Municipal Airport Authority, Mangia Bene Restaurant Group, University of Mississippi Medical Center Division of Information Systems, Jackson Free Press, Women’s Foundation of Mississippi, Mississippi Department of Health, and the Iowa Department of Public Health.

Deirdre is accredited by the International Coach Federation, has a B.A. in psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, as well as, both a M.S.W. and M.P.H. from Tulane University. Deirdre was named one of Mississippi’s 50 Leading Business Women in 2012. In 2019 she servesd as the Gulf Coast Chapter Representative to the Global Leaders Forum an invitation only program of the International Coach Federation. She currrently serves as the ICF Gulf Coast Chapter Vice President.


She views her career as the culmination of her childhood love of the game of Clue, the unexpected gift of dyslexic tendencies, and a lifelong fascination with understanding what makes people tick — all of which contributed to her keen listening skills, remarkable memory, and acute sense for discerning patterns of strengths, weaknesses, and outcomes.

Deirdre is a transplanted New Englander who makes her home in Jackson MS with her college professor husband, sweet yellow dog, and alarmingly large tabby cat.
