Why I’m serving on the Board: “What the world needs now is love sweet love.” Coaching widens the lens of our world view and invites us to ponder what’s possible. It’s invigorating to imagine a world made more vibrant by purposeful connection, consciousness, and service. It is rewarding to assist in the ongoing support and professional development for coaches and professionals interested in coaching. I am serving on the Board to expand the footprint of coaching in underserved communities and to create increase in the purposeful pursuit of diversity, inclusion, belonging and justice. | Why I’m serving on the Board: I have valued being of service and volunteering since I was young. As a coach I have learned how meaningful it is to have a strategic thinking partner, and recognize that we’re able to exponentially impact connection and growth far more in partnership, than alone. Being a part of this chapter has inspired me and supported me. I am committed to this community of professionals who also see the value of service, credibility and ongoing development |
Why I’m serving on the Board: ICF Gulf Coast is such a desired community for me. I have experienced a 40+ year career in executive management of corporations owning and operating hospitals and related health care facilities. I have also been a entrepreneur and owner of several small businesses and franchises. I engaged in the coaching process by happenstance when I was transitioning and repurposing myself into what I conceptualized as “retirement.” | Shannon D'Gerolamo, PCC Communications and Programs Chair |
