Sheila Baker is a Professional Certified Coach and leadership and team development trainer. Her clients say she inspires them to use their God-given talents to achieve personal fulfillment while making
greater impacts and positive influence.
As the Organizational Development Director for The Westervelt Company, a private land resource organization headquartered in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Sheila is partners with Business Leaders to develop the talent and skills of high potential leaders.
In 2002, Sheila helped lead the efforts to introduce coaching to The Westervelt Company. Since that time, she has worked to evolve and position the coaching program as a critical component for developing a pipeline of leadership talent and supporting the company’s core value to be a learning organization. Under her guidance, The Westervelt Company was awarded the Southeast Coaches Association’s 2010 Prism Award, recognizing organizational excellence through coaching. Sheila welcomes the opportunity to mentor other internal coaches as they develop and implement a coaching strategy within their organizations.
Sheila offers a wide range of training solutions including: The Coaching Clinic (a workshop designed to enhance the skills of a Manager, Coach or Team Leader); Essential Conversations for Developing Others; Presentation Skills; and Leadership Brand: What’s Yours?. She is a licensed facilitator for Development Dimensions International (DDI) training programs, Fierce Conversations and is a certified Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Practitioner.
She holds a B.S. degree in Business from the University of Alabama. Sheila is a graduate of the Coach Training Institute and has earned her Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential through the International Coach Federation.
