Tulane University Campus Life Building | New Orleans, LA
Have you ever had a client with whom you just did not connect with?
Or found yourself wondering why the 360 o feedback did not make an impact on your client?
Ever try using a coaching resource or tool that you love only to have it fall flat?
Targeting Coaching Interventions to Your Client’s Stage of Development
Join us at the 2019 ICF Gulf Coast Chapter Annual Conference as we welcome Chris Wahl, MA Ed, MCC, an expert on adult development theory to the campus of Tulane University in New Orleans. During the conference you’ll learn about the stages of adult development, how adults evolve, and what their own development makes possible for them. You will also likely see yourself in your own development and gain new perspectives on self. Knowing something about the stages of adult development will help you match your coaching tools and language to your client’s development stage, providing a more satisfying and meaningful coaching relationship for both of you. Chris’s presentation promises to be as compelling as our host city, New Orleans.

Chris Wahl is a master-certified coach through ICF and is certified as a developmental coach. Chris brings a developmental perspective to her work with leaders, helping them build their capacity to succeed beyond challenges and to create a thriving professional life. She has developed numerous programs on the topic of adult development for coaches and leaders alike. Chris is the founder and creator of the Georgetown University Leadership Coaching Certificate program, where she teaches a course on coaching teams. She is adjunct faculty member teaching adult development in Georgetown’s Transformational Leadership program and coaches in Notre Dame’s Executive MBA program. Chris has co-authored two books, Be Your Own Coach, and On Becoming a Leadership Coach, and has been a frequent guest and host on radio shows dedicated to conscious leadership.
