As coaches, we would like all our clients have transformative experiences. That is not always the case. At times, the clients are ill-prepared to make change or forward momentum. At others, management gets in the way of employee development.

Come join the ICF Gulf Coast Chapter on Wednesday, November 20th to explore how you as an Executive Coach can manage the engagement to the best possible outcome.  Together we will have an interactive discussion. Please bring your ideas, frustrations and be prepared to share.

  • How do we as coaches best manage and acknowledge when clients are not getting what we had hoped out of the coaching experience?

  • How do we address this challenge?

  • Do we possibly end the relationship?

  • How do we get them off the ledge to move forward?

Learning Objectives

  • Define what it means to meet clients where they are, even if it is helping them identify that they are not ready for coaching.

  • Explore productive confrontation with clients. When and how is it possible to effectively confront a client’s inertia or lack of engagement?

  • Create structure and deliverable to best manage relationship with sponsor organization and help them support coaching of their employees.
