Coaching Supervision: Why you need it - Yes, you do!

Is being a credentialled coach enough? For the longest time, guest coach and speaker, Michael Cullen thought so. But then, a strange thing happened; he got comfortable with his style of coaching and if clients didn’t work with him, that was on them. Not exactly a great way to further a career in coaching! Despite logging thousands of client-coaching hours, hundreds of mentor-coaching hours, and many CCE workshop hours year over year, it was only with Coaching Supervision that significant shifts in both his approach and his success truly took hold.

In this workshop, you will benefit from Michael’s experience, learn what Coaching Supervision is and isn’t, how it differs from Mentor Coaching and Peer Coaching, how to handle challenging coaching issues, and most importantly, how you can recalibrate your coaching practice to better serve you, your clients, and further the coaching profession itself.

Join us for an engaging and enlightening workshop where you will also experience a live demonstration of group coaching supervision. As the ICF recognizes 10 hours of Coaching Supervision towards the renewal of your coaching credential, this is your opportunity to evolve your coaching knowledge, skills, and acumen.

Learning Objectives

Participants will learn about ICF’s position on Coaching Supervision and the popular models that underpin the theory and the practice. You will also partake in a demonstration of group coaching supervision as a means to further assess your own coaching approach, learn from it, and determine if it, like you, is indeed “fit for purpose”.
